Each state and nation has unique and wonderful features. Each Collie Club has a personality of its own. It is fun to show these off! Consider offering a State, Nation, or Club Basket for the privilege of having bragging rights. We ask that nothing be perishable and that you provide a list of the contents for prospective bidders. 50 percent of the proceeds from the silent auction will go to support the show and 50 percent to Collie Rescue. Illusion and Reality – The Collie Head

Come sharpen your tactile "eyes" by participating in a visual and touchy-feely study of the Collie head. The 2016 Seminar will present 3-D skull models, affording participants the opportunity to touch and study replicas of collie skulls and use modeling clay "tissue, fat, and fascia" to layer onto those models to create a headpiece representing one's mental image of our Collie Standard. Join Mike Cheatham and the Breed Ed. Committee and let your curiosity explore the Collie head!

8:00 AM-12:00 noon, West Hall Meeting Room, KEC. Price: $35—includes ring-side mentoring. Juniors: Free, but must be registered. Ringside mentoring will be available Wednesday-Saturday. The evening will include induction of Pat Starkweather into the Hall of Fame, the Right Stuff Award and a live auction of a beautiful bronze collie head on black marble base, numbered 2 of 15, created by artist Garry Newton.

Event is Open to All

The annual gala will be held at the Kentucky Derby Museum, which is 5-10 minutes from the show site. The evening will include induction of Pat Starkweather into the Hall of Fame, the Right Stuff Award and a live auction of a beautiful bronze collie head on black marble base, numbered 2 of 15, created by artist Garry Newton.

The schedule is:

6:00-7:00 p.m. ~ Cocktails, Exhibits, and Gift Shop
7:00-7:15 p.m. ~ Viewing of the Museum’s award winning 360 degree high-definition video “The Greatest Race”
7:15-8:30 p.m. ~ Kentucky Themed Buffet
8:30-10:00 p.m. ~ Program with Special Recognitions

Reservations will be accepted between January 1 and March 11, 2016, and include admittance to the museum.

$55 for both members and non-members includes museum admission.
