Then the dog may run the Novice JWW course or any portion of the course, at any height desired - 4"-8"-12"-16" or bars on the ground. The collie will be presented with a personalized neck sash.

If you are not attending the CCA Herding trials on Saturday and Sunday, you could enter local AKC agility trials on those days. On Saturday and Sunday, March 24-25, the English Setter Association of America will offer 2 trials for All-Breeds at the same facility, with the same judge and the same equipment. MDR1 Testing Available

The Collie Health Foundation will have MDR1 testing available at the National. CHF will have a committee of volunteers, chaired by David Hansen, DVM, available to help you test your Collie. CHF is partnering with Washington State University. WSU is giving us a volume discount price of $60. CHF gives our members a $20 rebate so final price will be just $40. This table will be open a couple of hours Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. Remember, WSU is the only entity with a patent-protected test and the only licensed facility for MDR1 testing. More information and a sign-up sheet will be available closer to the National.

Cocktail Reception (Cash Bar) and Speaker: Prior to the dinner, Dr. Leigh Anne Clark, Clemson University Canine Genetic Laboratory, will present information on how to interpret the DMS Risk Assessment test and speak about the lack of genetic diversity in the American Collie. A MUST ATTEND. The free seminar is open to all.

Special Guest: Diane E. Brown, DVM, PhD, DACVP, Chief Executive Officer of AKC Canine Health Foundation will give a brief talk following Dr. Clark.

Dinner: The annual dinner and auction will follow the presentation of the President’s Trophy. Space is limited so tickets will be limited to a maximum of 175.

MDR1 Testing Available

The Collie Health Foundation will have MDR1 testing available at the National. CHF will have a committee of volunteers, chaired by David Hansen, DVM, available to help you test your Collie. CHF is partnering with Washington State University. WSU is giving us a volume discount price of $60. CHF gives our members a $20 rebate so final price will be just $40. This table will be open a couple of hours Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. Remember, WSU is the only entity with a patent-protected test and the only licensed facility for MDR1 testing. More information and a sign-up sheet will be available closer to the National.
